Radisson Fashion Award in Ulyanovsk
On Tuesday, September 7, Ulyanovsk hosted a bright social event of the fashion industry - "Radisson Fashion Award 2021". The jury of the fashion event was headed by art critic, fashion historian, theater artist and host of the "Fashion Verdict" program Alexander Vasiliev.
Despite the cold outside, fashion lovers gathered on the summer terrace of the Radissonulyanov hotel to see a show with the participation of designers and fashion designers of clothing and accessories from the cities of the Volga region. Champagne, light snacks and warm blankets helped to warm up the fans of Ulyanovsk couturiers.
More than 100 models paraded along the catwalk, which demonstrated everything better that was sewn in Ulyanovsk and the Volga region. The highlight of the evening was the show of 15 fashion collections from Volga fashion designers. Five collections were chosen as the best:
The prize in the nomination "Stop coronavirus" was the collection of Marina Eero Lidiya
Collection "Zedzetter" designer Devon Blake won in the nomination "breakthrough of the Youth"
Two awards in the categories "In the rhythm of time" and "Emotion" took the fashion House "Tempesta infiniti" collections "Dream" and "Frida"
The award for "Metropolis" went to the company "Business Line"
The other participants of the fashion show were also awarded certificates and memorable prizes, including books by Alexander Vasiliev with autographs of the author.
The audience was particularly enthusiastic about the collection of shimmering wedding dresses from the Russian brand Dolinamod. Designer Liliya Zaripova presented the Adagio collection for the SS’22 season. The collection was distinguished by a subtle elegance. Models with bare shoulders and back, a stand-up collar, a V-neck, vintage style elements prevailed. It was not without, so fashionable today, original sleeves-puffs and flares. Several variants of short wedding dresses were also presented.

The upcoming SS’22 wedding season promises to be incredibly beautiful. Minimalism, which has been the dominant trend in wedding fashion for the last few seasons, is not going to give up its positions. But I decided that the bride should still outshine everyone around her at the wedding with her image. Therefore, I chose shimmering, iridescent fabrics for sewing the collection, so that the bride would shine at her celebration. Glamorous glitter at your own wedding is so girlish, absolutely appropriate, fun, beautiful. All the elements that dominate the upcoming season, which Alexander Vasiliev spoke about at his master classes, are already present in my collection: voluminous sleeves, fabrics with an ombre effect, cowboy ruffles.

Maestro Vasiliev said that he really liked it in our city:
"He was nice and sunny to me, and I was very happy to attend this small but very interesting fashion show. Much of what we saw corresponded to today's fashion trends, was interesting and convenient. Of course, I would like to declare each participant the winner, but this, unfortunately, does not happen, " Alexander Vasiliev summed up.

The Radisson Fashion Award 2021 was held as part of the visit of fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev to Ulyanovsk.
